Digital or analog, Mixmasters has the best of both formats, and all systems can be synchronised to create the ultimate recording pallette.

Our main digital recording system is the Digidesign ProTools HD and iZ Corp RADAR-V Nyquist. This digital hard disk recorder is widely regarded as the finest sounding digital recorder available. The RADAR Nyquist is 24 tracks, and 24bit / 96kHz.

Analog tape is something we're passionate about. Our Studer A820 2" 24 track is the "Rolls Royce" of tape machines, and is aligned for hot and cold tape, with speeds from 7.5ips to 30ips, with or without Dolby "A". Every possible tape "sound" can be found, from 70's "head-bump" 15ips with Dolby A to the more "modern" 30ips-on-hot-tape sound.

Our ProTools HD system is equipped with 40 channels of iZ Corp ADA and Lynx Aurora converters, which can be linked directly to the RADAR.
