Mixmasters' console has an enviable place in the Australian music industry. The SSL 4048E/G was originally commissioned for INXS' Rhinoceros Studios in Sydney, and there it was used to record or mix many landmark Australian albums.

After spending some time at a Sydney post production facility, it was pulled down, boxed up and driven here to Adelaide to relive it's album-making roots.

The console is now playing a part in a different generation of music, across many genres, and has a sound that is unmistakably "SSL".
