Illicit Eve is a talented rock trio from
Adelaide notable for their distinctive lyrical and musical style.
The band creates an experience both powerful and evocative through
musical versatility. Potent riffs, sometimes heavy, sometimes soft,
are guided by striking polished vocals, and their unique use of
harmony proves almost refreshingly revolutionary.
Taking advantage of the awesome vocal talents of Emily Smart and
Felicity Freeman, Illicit Eve generate imaginative ideas with both
their voices & instruments .
They explore different styles, rhythm and sounds which assures a
distinct diversity to their songs. Lyrically inventive; delivering
controversial issues and fracturing conformity, Illicit Eve has
established a steady reputation as a band with a difference. The
band is courageous enough to explore the darker side of humanity
in their songs.
Illicit Eve also manage to maintain a 'fun' approach to their music.
They deal with real issues. The sparse tightness combined with explosive
vocals makes their music unique. From power chord clichés
to heart-melting ballads Illicit Eve has something for everyone.
